Trans Camp* was created in 2023 in collaboration with CHEAP in Bologna, Italy, for the FUORI! festival. As part of the project, a caravan was installed in public space as a meeting point and a site for the visibility of trans* and queer experiences. Through this intervention, urban space was temporarily occupied, transforming into a territory of care, resistance, and community.
The caravan was transformed into a body in evolution and overflow, a living structure that shifted throughout the day and changed with the light of the night. Its ever-changing presence evoked the fluidity of trans* identities and the ability to reinvent the spaces we inhabit.
Inside and around it, various activities and workshops were organized with the aim of fostering dialogue, learning, and collective creation. Conversation spaces, writing sessions, illustration, and graphic production workshops were facilitated, allowing trans* narratives to be explored and expressed freely.
During the festival, Trans Camp* was inhabited by people from different backgrounds, and its presence in the city was used to question normative ways of occupying and moving through public space. Through collective action, new forms of urban occupation and territorial appropriation were imagined, reclaiming trans* existence beyond imposed margins.

Trans Camp* fue creado en 2023 en colaboración con CHEAP en Bolonia, Italia, para el festival FUORI!. En el proyecto, una caravana fue instalada en el espacio público como un punto de encuentro y visibilización de las experiencias trans* y queer. A través de esta intervención, el espacio urbano fue ocupado temporalmente, convirtiéndose en un territorio de cuidado, resistencia y comunidad.
La caravana fue transformada en un cuerpo en evolución y desbordamiento, una estructura viva que mutaba con el paso del día y se transformaba con la luz de la noche. Su presencia, en constante cambio, evocó la fluidez de las identidades trans* y la capacidad de reinventar los espacios que se habitan.
En su interior y alrededores, se organizaron diversas actividades y talleres con el objetivo de generar diálogo, aprendizaje y creación colectiva. Espacios de conversación, sesiones de escritura, ilustración y producción gráfica fueron facilitados, permitiendo que las narrativas trans* fueran exploradas y expresadas libremente.
Durante el festival, el Trans Camp* fue habitado por personas de diferentes procedencias, y su presencia en la ciudad fue utilizada para cuestionar las formas normativas de habitar y desplazarse en el espacio público. A través de la acción colectiva, nuevas formas de ocupación y apropiación del territorio urbano fueron imaginadas, reivindicando la existencia trans* más allá de los márgenes impuestos.
